Ovoid

The Egg, a most basic source of protein food is also one of the most recognizable forms and symbols known throughout the world.  Many think our very existence came from a “cosmic egg.” The tapered oval represents new life, fertility, resurrection, regeneration, hope, purity, and in one shell both strength and fragility. In creation myths, it is often used to represent a duality or yin yang: life and death, heaven and earth, darkness, and light, and male and female. Symbolic meanings of eggs have varied with cultures and religions since the beginning of time and the ovoid vessel has been used in countless ceremonies and traditions. Overall, it promotes very positive spiritual qualities as well as a perfect breakfast.
